    5 Deputies Down In Denver

Answering a domestic dispute. Police hate these with good reason.

    From CNN:

    Denver-area deputy killed

Five sheriff's deputies were shot and one of them killed following a domestic disturbance call in a Denver suburb, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

Two civilians also were shot and the suspect is "shot and believed to be dead," the sheriff's office said on Twitter.

The incident happened shortly after 5 a.m. at the Copper Canyon Apartments in Highlands Ranch, about 20 miles south of Denver.

    Sometimes they do.

Unfortunately its usually after they shoot others, though.

Authorities are calling for citizens to shelter in place and avoid "exterior walls" because American citizens often have very high calibre, rapid firing weapons that make us free, but come with some inconvenience.

Let me take a wild guess here.
The murderer was NOT armed with a six shot .38 special revolver?

It is absolutely ridiculous that we do not ban gun ownership for domestic violators.

Cops get shot by these people on an incident-by-incident basis across all jurisdictions than any other.

The firearms industry lobby --- that is what they need to be called --- is the only roadblock on this.

No police group, even the ones that tend to be pro-gun, is opposed to a ban.

There is a provision in some states' domestic violence law that requires the police to confiscate the guns of anyone residing with the subject of a DV protective order, if one is granted.

Domestic Violence & Firearms | Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence

Colorado's laws are not this forward thinking; there, the cops have this duty only after a DV criminal conviction.

Obviously, we don't yet have enough facts to determine whether there was a protective order in place, but it seems reasonable to assume that 5 cops did not arrive at the shooter's apartment together at 5 am but for the fact that they knew this was a very dangerous man.

A 6 year old was shot in his mobile home as Sheriff Deputies fired upon a carjacking suspect that had invaded the home to hide.

Sheriff deputies (4) shot the woman suspect on the front porch of the mobile home killing the boy inside.

The boy was the grandson of a San Antonio Police officer visiting family for the holidays.

It is sad the these police officers lost their lives. Police were doing so much better with almost no civilian killings in a while.

Things have been calming down and with the conviction of the police officer that shot and killed the unarmed man and the officer planted his stun gun by the body...it really looks like Black Live Matter really worked.
