After a bitter eight years we have a president who doesn't seem to hate America.
    He just hates Americans....

Trump is an indulged rich kid with big aspirations, so while parts of the OP are true, Fredo never ordered a hit on anyone.

While Trump, who has dealt with Mobsters in the New York Real Estate market most of his adult life may be far more subtle when not mugging for the cameras.

Personally, I am counting on it (perhaps hoping is closer).
How do you square Trump's overt libertine tendencies with your publicly--here at PH over time--espoused faith?

Yeah lots of people in CONNECTICUT also adored John Gotti...., and they stunk up their neighborhoods with that star adoration.

To be fair, anyone who didn't shun the Wall Street thieves deserves the same shame as anyone who did not shun the mobsters.

And what the hell makes you think we didn't? But you whitewash. A lot of people ended up dead because of Gotti and his killers.

You go look how many hedge funders were prosecuted by the FIB and the Attorney General in NYC. AND you know where those fucker's lived? Greenwich, Stamford, Norwalk, Westport, and Fairfield Connecticut.

What does...not hating America have to do with being incapable to govern? Donald Trump is being managed.

Do you understand what that means? That means he is not in on the management of the country. Other decide the agenda and Donald Trump signs off on the project. Just like his business.

That is the reason the Trump's first inner-circle of advisers were all fired off. His choices of advisers and the choices of his advisers were so poor, that the GOP leadership had to get Kelly and Mattis to end the chaos.

Trump is a puppet and the GOP Congressional leadership run the show.

Almost weekly he tweets a comment that demonstrates he either doesn't understand how our government works or he's frustrated by it.

So I'm thinking the current president is closer to hating America and I get the impression about 60% of Americans would agree with this.
"Make America Great Again" implies that it is not great now, doesn't it? Which president "hates America?"

    The Whitehouse is a "dump"
    The media is the enemy
The international banking industry (code words) are the problem

I could go on and on and on......

Trump went to the Wharton School of Business, you know what they teach you there? to criticize and disparage those that came before you, so anything you do, looks like a success
