Break'g: Trump RANT, why do we only get people from Africa & 'shithole' countries...

That's what MSNBC claims he said. I'll put it up as soon as available.

I mean REALLY, even if he THOUGHT IT, he said it out loud? Could the stable genius not couch it better? How fucking stupid is this man?

In an Oval Office meeting, President Donald Trump blasted people coming into the United States from countries he doesn’t like.

“Why are we having all these people from sh*thole countries come here?” Trump said, according to The Washington Post. What Trump was referring to were people from African countries and Haiti. Instead, Trump wants to see more people from places like Norway.

The comments come just after the Norwegian Prime Minister came to the White House.

Lawmakers were reportedly stunned and taken aback. Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Dick Durbin (D-IL) were speaking with the president about cutting the visa lottery program by 50 percent with specific countries prioritized over the other....

You'd think this self proclaimed "genius" would shut his pie hole but he spews one outrageous statement after another.

Trump attacks protections for immigrants from ‘shithole’ countries

Trump grew frustrated with lawmakers Thursday in the Oval Office when they floated restoring protections for immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African countries as part of a bipartisan immigration deal, according to two people briefed on the meeting. “Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” Trump said, according to these people, referring to African countries and Haiti. He then suggested that the United States should instead bring more people from countries like Norway, whose prime minister he met Wednesday.

The comments left lawmakers taken aback, according to people familiar with their reactions. Sens. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) and Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.) proposed cutting the visa lottery program by 50 percent and prioritizing countries already in the system, a White House official said.

Outlining a potential bipartisan deal, the lawmakers discussed restoring protections for countries that have been removed from the temporary protected status program while adding $1.5 billion for a border wall and making changes to the visa lottery system. The administration announced this week that it was removing the protection for citizens of El Salvador. Trump had seemed amenable to a deal earlier in the day during phone calls, aides said, but shifted his position in the meeting and did not seem interested.

Graham and Durbin thought they would be meeting with Trump alone and were surprised to find immigration hard-liners such as Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) at the meeting. The meeting was impromptu and came after phone calls Thursday morning, Capitol Hill aides said.

Not even trying to hide his racism anymore. Norway good. Africa bad. And really I can't imagine any normal POTUS would use such language

Voters knew this was a part of Trump. All they had to do was take a serious look at the whole
birtherism support and past comments about people of color. Let’s stop dancing around it. Trump is a racist.

People that still support him and will vote for him again (even in secret like they did originally) love that he is a racist. These America will gladly give him another chance to run and will vote for him because he says what they want to but we’re afraid of saying for fear of being socially shunned. Now the time has come to shun anybody that still identifies as a Republican.

How sad is that? What does it say about you, if you still support him and the Republicans that will not denounce him and get him out of office?
Now ask me why I cannot respect you if you don’t agree dear family and friends? This is my line in the sand and you have decided to cross it if you still support any GOP candidate while Trump remains President.

I’m afraid if there is any person running under a GOP banner while Trump is still allowed to be the GOP party leader, you are dead to me. This has to be the reaction of any good person=not one dollar and not one single vote will go to any candidate that identifies as Republican

Another first for Trump: As far as I can tell, using the WaPo's 1877-2017 archive search function, today's report quoting the President is the first time that paper has published the word "shithole".

Oh, and why would Norwegians want to leave their wonderful country with all its advantages and come to a country where a POS like Trump is the president and Republicans are shredding the social compact?

"Socialist medicine", parental (dads too) leave and I believe they MIGHT have a guaranteed income now.

(Add: Yep, I remembered that correctly)....

WHOOPS! Trump said Norway, I think Denmark (I think it's because our neighbors were from Denmark). Norway has pondered a 'guaranteed income' as well but hasn't instituted one yet. They too have a very strong safety-net.

The minimum wage in Denmark is about twice that of the United States and people who are totally out of the labor market or unable to care for themselves have a basic income guarantee of about $100 per day. Health care in Denmark is universal, free of charge and high quality.May 26, 2013
