Yeah, expect immigration is at it's lowest level in over 25 years

You know what's frustrating. People posting something they know nothing about in terms of policy.

Either they are or they aren't. It's a matter of economic facts, not a philosophy debate.

Most economists agree, immigrant families contribute far more than they draw, and that's before you consider the wealth they create for Americans who illegally employ them at far below market rates.

You want to despise immigrants (ironical for any white American), you'll need a different reason. The "costs" you perceive are simply not there.

But their roads Dams and Bridges and Forestry management is in the crapper.
This is just not true. California's entire annual budget for welfare programs directed at undocumented people is between $4 and $6 billion, which includes all costs associated with the education of their children.

This amount cannot be reduced, because SCOTUS has ruled that undocumented children must be taught in public schools.

Per the Los Angeles Times, January 12, 2018, article entitled "Overview of California State Budget".

You are entitled to your own opinions, TNV, but not your own facts.

Immigrants cost more than they contribute by far.
"The Heritage Foundation in 2013 found that illegals contribute an average of $10,000 in total taxes (federal and payroll as well as local taxes) but use almost $24,000 in welfare and services, creating a net $14,000 per capita gain per illegal worker."

What a delusional idea. Nobody can draw welfare for life, and that subsistence level income is certainly not "sailing through".

I never understood this antagonism towards the children who are citizens, but their parents are not. What different mechanism for establishing citizenship appeals to you? Nobody who is not white and doesn't own land is a citizen?

Wrong. It's just plain wrong. Bad information.

Meanwhile, you pay about 25% of the cost of food, possibly less, if the labor was supplied by minimum wage workers. It isn't just the employer of undocumented people who is unjustly enriched by oppressing and exploiting them.

    No, it's not wrong.
