Republican Senators Introduce Immigration / DACA Amnesty Bill

Here is the one page summary: https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/imo...%20Summary.pdf

    Bullets:

    • Border Wall Spending - $25 Billion
    • Ends Catch and Release
    • Increases Human Smuggling / Trafficking Penalties
    • Kate's Law
    • Addresses Unaccompanied Minors
    • Ends VISA overstays - With a (30) day grace period
    • E-Verify
    • DACA - 1.2 Million Approved
    • Ends Chain Migration of Extended Family

It all sounds like good points. If the summary is in line with the actual bill. I support it.

It does fall short of the 1.8 Million Trump targeted for amnesty with DACA - https://www.cnn.com/2018/01/25/polit...ork/index.html
    Thanks from Goofball and pragmatic

Sounds like pointless masturbatory fodder created for the pleasure of the president.

Besides, the jackass said Mexico was paying for the wall. Why are we paying this $25,000,000,000?

Given Trump's repeated assurances that Mexico would be paying for the wall, I still think we use federal funds to match wall spending with Mexico. If Mexico provides a billion for the wall, another billion should be matched out of federal funds.

Ok then what's your plan? What would you like to see happen?

I'm curious how unaccompanied minors are addressed.

Nothing. Call the Presidents bluff. Pass a clean bill to grant a path way to citizen ship for those already registered in DACA and deal with immigration and the wall separately. If he refuses start deporting people if he dares and see you in November.
The only way to deal with Trump is to call his bluff. At the end of the day he is as strong as a paper tiger.

My plan? Amnesty for folks who have established ties here and not criminal backgrounds. More work visas for folks who work on farms.

Illegals cost America $113 BILLION per year. $25 Billion would be saving us money.

So the left gets what they want and no one else does. Not a great plan.

And what, open borders so that we can keep granting amnesty?
    Thanks from Goofball and Crusher
