School walkout day - the studuents are not letting go

Today is one month after the Parkland shooting, and an organized school walkout for 17 minutes at 10 AM local time zone, seems to be pretty successful, as many schools are participating.

Most important is for the young generation to keep the momentum going, to maintain the spotlight to shine on the topic... and maybe they will shoe us grown ups" how change can be demanded, eventually.

Those kids sure do not bend or fear the NRA, like our spineless representatives.

Impressive, a group of people who can't vote, can't tell you the capital city of a dozen states, do not understand that someone has to pay for those FREE things like tuition, and couldn't name their Congressman walked out for 17 minutes. I'm impressed. It changes nothing.
    Thanks from bmanmcfly and excalibur

Good on those youths!! It may not cause an immediate change but those kids are the leaders of tomorrow and the voters of tomorrow.

We'll see about what it's gonna change... i know you're scared it actually MIGHT.

Funny how you talk about these young citizens as know-nothings with no sense of responsibility.. yet you fight for their right to be able to buy a gun within the next 6-12 months, when they turn 18.

    They'll vote soon enough.. time's up !
