If you worked in an ER, you would statistically never see an AR wound.

Brunswick police arrested an 18-year-old Brunswick man Monday night in connection with Saturday night's shooting of another teen during a carnival in the parking lot of Glynn Place Mall, an incident that caused panic in the crowd amid fears of an active shooter on scene. Larry Monroe was arrested at 8:15 p.m. Monday at McIntyre Court housing complex on Albany Street, charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime, according to Glynn County police. Brunswick Police assisted in the investigation.

More lies from the gun nuts.

Compare the damage an AR-15 and a 9mm handgun can do to the human body: “One looks like a grenade went off in there,” says Peter Rhee, a trauma surgeon at the University of Arizona. “The other looks like a bad knife cut.”

The bullet from an AR-15 does an entirely different kind of violence to the human body. It’s relatively small, but it leaves the muzzle at three times the speed of a handgun bullet. It has so much energy that it can disintegrate three inches of leg bone. “It would just turn it to dust,” says Donald Jenkins, a trauma surgeon at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. If it hits the liver, “the liver looks like a jello mold that’s been dropped on the floor.” And the exit wound can be a nasty, jagged hole the size of an orange.

I was standing among the police leaders after the scene was secured discussing the handling the bodies and the forensics and the discussion turned to the extreme mental health history of the killer in my experience, good to know that crazy fuck was sane. However, I am certain all the survivors and victims families of all the mass shootings since 8-1-66 are relieve to know all the shooters of all the incidence were sane (not "mentally defective"), per you.
