Unless I missed something important on the funding page, that is what it looks like to me too. It could include fees he has already incurred but I didn't see that.

He is excluding the pension fight from his fundraising which is interesting.

No one cared about trump during his bankruptcies and you need to be upset at the lawmakers, not those who take advantage of the laws.
I'm not upset. I think it's hysterical that the party who constantly gripes about the takers went all-in on the chronic bankruptcy filer. That kind of stuff cracks me up.

Not sure. Wouldn't be too surprising that someone anticipating legal action would already be lining up a lawyer, preparing some documents, or at least paying a retainer or other fees. Also, he could be preparing for some kind b of suit of his own.

    Will be interesting to follow.

Thanks, Min. I was feeling dumb - like there was some ongoing criminal prosecution I wasn't aware of, or lawsuits which have already been filed. Again, I'm certain he's had to consult with attorneys regarding his appearances to testify, and I imagine that's not been cheap, but $250,000 is a sizeable legal fee, and I'm not seeing where/how he'd have racked that up yet.

Not aware of the status of McCabe's pension ever being made public.

Believe the chance of his pension actually being totally denied to him is near zero. The outstanding mystery is whether he will have to wait until he is (57?) to start collecting it.

Personally think his firing two day's from his announced retirement was lame/vengeful by the Administration. And McCabe should be allowed to start collecting at 50. But either way i doubt it is going to impact his lifestyle due to a shortage of income.

Wow, then what is the money for?

"However, no funds raised for the Andrew McCabe Legal Defense Fund will be used for anything beyond his defense of the allegations against him. He will continue to fight for the pension and benefits he deserves, rather than accept any crowdfunding for that purpose. Following the conclusion of any related legal proceedings, any funds that remain in the Legal Defense Fund will be donated to charitable organizations of the McCabes’ choosing."

So basically, this is a legal defense fund in case he's charged with something. which most likely he is not. so people much poorer than him gave him a bucket of money he gets to donate.

I bet most people have no idea what they donated to.

That's interesting to know... Wonder what he needs to be legally defended against?

Very likely true. Probably more like feeling good about being engaged. Our team against their team kind of thingy.

Nice touch by McCabe declaring any leftover funds would go to charities.
