So that is why he is raising money! He needs to defend himself against your mock-courtroom verdict? LOL

What's funny is that he's worth 11 million, with a peak salary of about 300k... That doesn't count his massive home and multiple really nice cars.

I'm not quite sure how you can reconcile those numbers.... But people are looking to bail him out, like he's some poor old man who was robbed of his retirement benefits. Even though he's got far bigger concerns than how much cash he can keep for the rest of his days.
He is not worth $11,000,000. This has been demonstrated.

LOL - more with the Leftist Deep State Swamp tin foil hat stuff?

According to Jordan, the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility determined that McCabe lied to his superiors and investigators four times: first, to Comey in October 2016; then, to FBI investigators in May; and later, to the Office of the Inspector General twice, beginning in the summer.

In a statement, McCabe’s lawyer said it was fully appropriate for the bureau’s deputy director to authorize media interaction, asserting that Comey knew about it. The lawyer, Michael R. Bromwich, said emails between the two men “clearly show that Mr. McCabe advised Director Comey that he was working with colleagues at the FBI to correct inaccuracies before the stories were published, and that they remained in contact through the weekend while the interactions with the reporter continued.” “We deeply regret being compelled to respond to this selective leaking with any comment at all,” Bromwich said, accusing Republicans of “attempting to create a false narrative” that pits Comey and McCabe against each other.

The revelation sheds new light on a matter of keen interest to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz, who is investigating how the bureau handled its probe into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of state. Horowitz’s inquiry, once complete, is expected to determine that McCabe authorized the disclosure of sensitive information to reporter Devlin Barrett, then of the Wall Street Journal. Barrett now works for The Washington Post

What happened within 24 hours of his "resignation"?

The IG report could very well carry a series of indictments... Pretty much every player and the role in the conspiracy to install Clinton as president is known, I had expected the hammer to drop months ago already.

They have the taste of blood, they just haven't recognized it's their own blood.

    That's very possible.

But the outstanding question is whether the IG report actually recommended he be fired 2 days before his announced retirement. It's a very specific issue.

    Yep. Could happen.

We'll just have to wait and see, eh?

He can say whatever he likes. It does not mean it is true.

His committee positions means he has read the report and would know what was in it.

The IG sent the info to the OPR, which in turn recommended McCabe be fired. This happened days prior to Sessions findings and then his firing the guy. Both the IG and the head of OPR are Øbama appointees.
