    At least he knows he played the useful idiot for Russia, Trump still refuses to acknowledge it. Noway Zuckerberg makes the same mistake twice wereas Trump will do nothing but keep repeating his mistakes.
    Zuck got caught. He would have continued status quo if he didn't.

    My sister and I were cracking up at how he kept acting like he didn't understand the questions. All in all he did okay, but parts of the hearing had me in stitches. Especially when Kennedy kept saying he couldn't move his stuff, or delete his account and Zuckerberg's like, yes you can.

    Very little solutions here, but I give it an A+ for entertainment value.
    Technically you cannot delete your account. If you follow the guides out there it will get you to a point, but if you log back in low and behold, nothing changed.

    He has legitimate strikes in the tech community. There is no evidence he is working within the common Facebook user's best interest. Evidence to the contrary.

    I was wondering what the constant referral to the AI they are supposedly developing was about. Sounded like he was trying to boost his stock price by acting as if he's on the verge of creating some big tech breakthrough and experimenting with it on a billion users.

    And the whole "we don't sell your data" may have technically been true, but he's certainly making money on it.

    Definitely not a stupid guy, and not exactly a pillar of morality. That dorky nerd act is charming, but not very convincing.

    He profited quite a bit during yesterdays questioning.

    I don't know why those two were banned, but I have to say I sympathized somewhat with the need to monitor hate speech. Think of Rwanda and how talk radio contributed to the genocide there. Imagine some small country with no real freedom of press and someone starts using FB to stir up civil unrest, especially around an election. It's not going to happen here because we've got many sources of information, but there's plenty of hotspots in the world where FB, if left entirely uncensored, has the potential to be the catalyst for a civil war.

    There's a lot of people who believe what they see on their computer screen without hesitation and a campaign on FB to use lies to get people to react could have devastating consequences.

    ================================================== ==

    Zuckerberg is now being questioned before the Senate Congressional Committee. NBC News is carrying the inquiry now LIVE.

    The little I saw revealed a Senate that has no clue how the FB model works, no clue how social media links between personal devices, no understanding of advertising online, no grasp of the true flaw in those models and no idea how to stop it. In essence, FB is a monopoly on a world wide scale and no US Senate can stop them, it may take a global effort to do it which none of these morons is even considering. FB is the borg, the borg is the Internet and we will be assimilated.

    We were offered a grilling, we were dished up a PR stunt. He probably ended up setting up the old peoples' wi-fi before he left
