I'm happy watching the Mueller investigation start to squeeze the life out of Trump like an Anaconda. It's only going to get worse, just wait till after November. "I can't breath!" lol

Am not as certain about that as you are. In the Senate we can figure that about half of them are already on board (the Democrats). So there would only need to be 17-18 Republicans to rise to the occasion.

Could go either way. The Donald's behaviors/outbursts regarding the current Syrian gas event are troubling. As has been the "rocket man" crap with North Korea. Certainly wouldn't break my heart to see him go.

You have no idea if I am a "layman" or not.

I honestly don't see what the GOP in general has to gain from keeping Trump in office. If Mueller actually does have a strong obstruction case against him, then Trump will either face impeachment proceedings or Mueller will have to attempt to prosecute him in a court of law. An impeachment could be over and done with in short order, but criminal proceedings would inevitably be met with resistance from Trump's legal team, and the ordeal could drag out for years.

Smart Republican politicians have to be quietly considering whether it's better to just cut their losses and put Trump behind them sooner, rather than later.

Your claim that no judicial proceeding were being obstructed is your opinion and simply wrong.

Democrats should vote against it, tell republicans that at this point in time with elections on the horizon Trump will remain in office until after the midterms.

Add to that some republicans in Congress are beating the drum to impeach Rosenstein to help Trump.

We'll see how much the republicans are willing to accept while they are the majority in Congress. They are creating a new footprint that goes against everything the party and their followers every said they stood for. So that is rather enjoyable watching.
