If Trump thinks of Comey as corrupt or incompetent, that's a unique judgment of him. And I know that Trump would like us to focus on Democrats' previous criticism of him, but the fact is that if both sides pdf the political ledger think someone is corrupt or incompetent, but only when attacking their own side....it's probably neither corruption or incompetence that drives him.

Their ilk loved him passionately when he did that.

Comey allowed hillary a pass on 3 federal felonies.

How is he "honorable"? because he said mean things about trump?

    I require more.
Comey announced that an investigation of Clinton was reopened the week before the election. Diehard Clinton supporters saw that as a move against her... not for her.

Comey laid this out at the time: the problem was proving intent. They didn't believe they could prove intent, so Comey did what he could to discredit Clinton without bringing charges, which he believed would be unsuccessful in court.

With Trump, it's much easier to prove intent. He's quite public about his intentions.

Comey is both, the pass he gave hillary should make us all shudder at the "one law for them" mentality of the ruling class.

Indeed. Many blame that letter for her loss. Comey attacks corruption wherever he sees it. One might blame him for talking too much or "being holier than thou," but neither corruption nor incompetence explains his behavior.

He didn't give Clinton a "pass." He attacked her publicly. What he didn't do was move forward with a prosecution, and he didn't because he didn't think the case would be successful in court. Actual courtrooms include requirements that the court of public opinion does not. You can fault him for wanting to influence the court of public opinion, but not corruption or incompetence. And he's shown that he wants to influence the court of public opinion in a non-partisan way. He's just opposed to law-breaking.

"On June 16, 2011, top Clinton aide Jake Sullivan wrote to Clinton to say she would get "tps" -- presumably short for "talking points" that evening. The subject of the email is redacted so it's not clear what topic these points covered.
The next morning, Clinton wrote back to say she hadn't received them yet, and after a few minutes Sullivan responded that staff were having issues sending the document in a secure fax but that they were "working on it."
"If they can't," Clinton replies, "turn into nonpaper w no identifying heading and send nonsecure."

Now, I'm not the director of FBI or anything but I think you have 2 problems here.

    1. intent is not indicated in the laws she broke. the three laws make it your responsibility, you can't just say "oops" on storing and disseminating classified materials and not face consequences.

    2. The paragraph above shows, however "intent", she directed an aide to remove the classification markings and send "nonsecure" (this is illegal, and she clearly knew it hence the request to strip classification headings".

Would you like the relevant laws?

if he was "opposed to law breaking" he would not have given a recommendation either way and handed the evidence over to the AG.
