North Korea to hold ‘ceremony’ dismantling nuclear test site ahead of Trump's summit

    Great news!

    --------

North Korea has scheduled a “ceremony” to dismantle its nuclear testing site on May 23-25 ahead of President Donald Trump’s summit with leader Kim Jong Un next month, state media said Saturday.

North Korea’s Foreign Ministry said Saturday that all the tunnels at the country’s northeastern testing ground will be destroyed by explosion and that observation and research facilities and ground-based testing units will also be removed. The dramatic and symbolic event is part of the Hermit Kingdom’s pledge to discontinue nuclear tests.

Wow. A testing facility. Maybe. Being destroyed. Maybe.

But one certainty is the needy man playing president will boast of this.

Ha! Tell me you really didn't fall for this ploy, or has Barnum been proven right yet again?

UPDATE: North Korea threatened Wednesday to cancel the forthcoming summit between leader Kim Jong Un and President Donald Trump if Washington seeks to push Pyongyang into giving up its nuclear arsenal.
Better luck next time, President Trump. Maybe try some harsher tweets.

North Korea's testing site is unusable as previous tests have made the underground unstable. He is collaping the underground site for safety reasons. It's already unusable. Trump is being played by Kim (again).

    Yep.

    From the article:

Analysts say the closure of the site is mostly symbolic and doesn't represent a material step toward denuclearization.
