This is why you're not taken seriously around here very much anymore. It doesn't have to be that way, but you make it so.

You cannot seriously suggest the U.S. endorsing an anti-Jewish pastor at the most important event it's arranged in Israel for years is a "tiny" matter.

Moreover, you and I both know you would not react this way to a Democrat appointing a critic of the Israeli government in a similar capacity.

well, said. The Hagee guy gave a fire and brimstone "Israel lives" sermon. This while bloody protest have resulted in 53 Palestinians being killed by Israeli troops. Any other administration would have wanted nothing to do with that. Trump instead all but declares war in the region.

Instead, it's the apocalypticist Christians, who care about Jewish control of the "Holy Land" merely as a box that needs to be checked en route to the Armageddon they're itching for. For them, the Jews aren't really people -- they're simply a plot point that has to be passed en route to a Christian "happily ever after"... in which those same Jews who were their former allies are relegated to eternal torture in a lake of fire, the moment they're no longer useful.
Bibi Netanyahu sucked up Trump and Republicans. He wants the Us to fight his war with Iran and Trump fell right in.

Evangelicals think the BS about Israel is setting them up for the second coming of Christ.

The most twisted thinking I have ever seen. And,is slowly killing the very thing they claim is most important to them. Christianity.

I'll never understand the "If you're not outraged by what outrages me, there's something wrong with you" mindset. It must be an authoritarian collectivist thing.

That's not what I said, but you can go ahead and lie if it suits you.

If you don't want to be outraged by this, fine. Nobody's going to force you to pay attention to things you'd rather ignore.

But don't come into the thread and try to suggest it's no big deal. That's factually wrong, disingenuous and ridiculous.

I asked my Pastor how it was possible for my generation to dislike Jews because they killed Christ. Only a handful of Jews followed him, to today we are supposed to love all Jews.

My young Pastor said it was one of the hardest things to preach about.

I ask one Evangelical here to answer me.

I do not think either way because those living today did not do anything.

Yeah, what did they do, pretend like Jeffress wasn't there?

We know Jared takes his faith very seriously — no calls on Saturday, period.

Is he just like, used to it by now? Every so often he will attend and administration function and one of Pence's Protestant Youth chaplains will be present?
Thanks from the watchman and Friday13
