The premise does not lead to your conclusion. It is not "caving in to terrorists" to not do something we already were not doing.

Nothing except the address has changed yet. The process is not anywhere near complete. In fact, except for the change of address, it has not even really begun. This whole thing recently was a PR stunt. The actual embassy move will take a long time to effect.

Not quite true ... the old consular building now has a plaque. And the largest lettering on the plaque is used for Trump's name.

This whole position is bullshit. If it were a question of moving the embassy away from Yerushalayim to Tel Aviv, that would be capitulating to terrorists. You have it backward.

I suppose we can bring in a dentist to take care of that plaque...

It is to make people afraid of doing things like recognizing the capital of Israel. Do you bow to terrorists?
Yes - out of fear for the lives of Palestinian civilians. Trump knew this would inflame the planned protests, and he knew that it would result in increased injuries and deaths. And sometimes injuries and deaths are worth it. But in this case, no one benefited except Trump and his friends.

Donald J Trump, when he was a candidate said that he would do this. I can't figure out why anyone is surprised that he did it.

Right, the address change was from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. I'm glad that you get it. The ambassador is now running the US Embassy which is located in Jerusalem. That is what it means to move an embassy. It has already happened. You can sit here with blinders on and say that it hasn't happened but the ambassador, David Friedman will be in his office located at 14 David Flusser in Jerusalem during the office hours today. What do you feel has not been moved?

    Is it surprise they're expressing?

No, if we refuse to take an action or delay and action because we are afraid of what terrorists might do not only is it cowardly, it is also an example of capitulation to terrorists. The terrorists are influencing our decisions. Fortunately, we have a president who doesn't cave in to fear.

Great, thanks for admitting that you do not think that we should do it out of FEAR. That is exactly what the terrorists want. As expected, terrorists and Democrats are on the same side of this argument. No surprise there.
