    What many don't want to concede is that raising the minimum wage would raise all wages. You couldn't keep pretending that $10.00 per hour was a "good wage" after the minimum wage has been raised to $12.50 per hour, which is what I'd recommend.

    I would raise to about that level, and then index it to inflation, just as Social Security payments are.
