Chris Hayes is actually a straight, white male?

    Married with children?

    What next?

    He's a (gasp!) Christian?

What's he doing on MSNBC, then?

It is horrific... Most don't want to know the truth of what's going on. Be cautious about how deep you search about what could be happening with these kids... It's very easy to lose sleep over what you find.

Who are the sponsored individuals? Not stopping illegal immigration at the border brings us to this nightmare of dealing with it. No incentive for them to make the journey here is paramount.

Seems like the right first question.

Is the premise of the thread that 1500 children were kidnapped? That would be sort of weird.

And, i didn't change the subject.

If not for our "open borders" policies, we would not have lost-yes, lost all those kiddos.

With tens of millions of illegals flooding into the country, how could we not lose some of em?
we do not have a open border policy.

No, they have literally lost track of them.

    From the link
Except that the states, unlike the federal government, have systems in place to better screen the people who become guardians of the children and much better ways to keep track of those children.

    And not lose them.

That is what happened to 1,475 minors swept up at the border and taken into custody by the federal government.

    Gone.

The Office of Refugee Resettlement reported at the end of 2017 that of the 7,000-plus children placed with sponsored individuals, the agency did not know where 1,475 of them were

This beyond horrible. Some of these "kids" are under 2 years old and are being ripped away from the only parents they know.

This administration know no bounds when it comes to cruel behaviour. Thank god for ACLU which is suing the administration. I hope they win.

Illegal aliens often avoid contact with authorities. Its not surprising at all a bunch of people possibly facing deportation would wander off. I read the article, no one was asserting these young people met with any foul play.

With 1500 kids; it would be a range of options...
