Enablers is such a nice word for what they are actually guilty of.

Yep, I suspect that Trump will use it in his next rally. Which is weird in and of it'self. No other POTUS has done campaign rallies once they are in office.

I guess he is so insecure/narcissistic that he has to keep doing them?

personally, it's getting old having to accommodate people who don't care about anyone except themselves. Trump won in part because people stayed home thinking he'd never be elected. Hillary made a lot of tactical errors. That, coupled with decades of baggage, give Trump a slim electoral college margin. We're dealing with people who won't budge. They see what a train-wreck this president is and they just ignore it. It doesn't matter what anyone says. Trump lies at his rallies anyway. Given a choice, I'd rather speak my mind and deal with the consequences. "If we're going to be damned , let's be damned for who we really are..." Jean Luc Picard.

Most definitely. He knows he gets beat up a lot. The purpose of his rallies are to stroke his ego. He is also making sure to shore up for 2020. In our face, pointing out what the "terrible democrats" are doing. He will do anything he can to make Democrats look bad and unfortunately he is given a lot of material.

Indeed, it is probably more important to point out that that Trump supporters do not care what his detractors think or feel. In fact, far-right Republicans in general do not care what anyone else thinks or feels, and to demonstrate that successfully would be to win an election.
