These gay Christians aren’t repressing themselves, they’re just engaging in “loving self-denial”
    By Graham Gremore

"A growing number of gay Christian millennials are embracing what is being called the “Side B” movement."
"Side B is for LGBTQ identifying Christians who don’t deny their sexualities, but rather pledge to keep them contained by partaking in “loving self-denial” (a.k.a. celibacy)."
“Side B means embracing Christ as the core of your identity,” Bennett explains. “It’s submitting these [same-sex] desires, along with everything else, to him.”

Celibacy is always good but that doesn't go only for Gay people it goes for Straight people too! Perhaps more so for Heterosexuals because one careless move can lead to an unwanted pregnancy that many times results in an abortion that should not ever be considered because it can always be prevented for the most part.

Of course, it is very admirable and honorable to practice celibacy but we just have to wonder if unmarried Straight, Heterosexual persons who like to currently pair off with others for sexual purposes (and who doesn't for the most part let's face it) would also practice self-denial or celibacy until they are married? Perhaps not. In fact, I'm sure they wouldn't. There are millions upon millions of them and I, for one, don't really believe that would be realistic for many as sex appears to be just too important to them for some reason as it is to many same-sex oriented folks.

But it all comes down to promiscuity as that is what Jesus really condemned. The act of being promiscuous, that is, having sex without love or a bonafide, caring and loving relationship. We have to remember that He told that to Mary Magdalene who was Heterosexual.

If you are Christian following God's word you can't be gay

Wrong. If you're Christian following God's word you can't be judgmental.

If that’s the case then I just became an atheist so I don’t go to hell for supporting their right to do whatever the fuck they want, including fucking.

There are a tremendous amount of Christian Churches in the U.S. alone that openly welcome the LGBT Community to go and worship. They obviously know and realize that a church, being God's home, is not a place to be judgmental, to practice hate, bigotry or discrimination. KUDOS to those churches and may God Bless Them ALL!

    Christianity and LGBT Equality

"In the U.S. alone, there are more than 5,000 churches that intentionally embrace the full inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexaul and transgender people. Four of the United State’s largest Christian denominations, representing some 10 million people, have passed inclusive policies ranging from statements of LGBT affirmation to LGBT ordination and marriage equality. Other denominations are actively working to pass similar policies in the near future."
"But we are not just raising our voices in church settings. A majority of Christians believe our laws should protect the LGBT community from discrimination. Republican and Democratic politicians alike are invoking their Christian faith as a motivator for endorsing LGBT equality. And through grassroots action, everyday people are helping to make our world a more just and joyous place for all God’s children."

You show you know nothing about being Christian. You do not condone sin. If they are Christian they would not call themselves Gay they would just be Christians

They go against the word of God if they allow them to continue in their sin
