(Reuters) - North Korean state media said on Wednesday U.S. President Donald Trump had agreed to lift sanctions against the North in addition to providing security guarantees in the summit with the North's leader, Kim Jong Un, the previous day.
Trump was cited by North Korea's official KCNA news agency as saying he made the promise after pledging to end joint military exercises with South Korea.

They probably promised him to build a hotel on one of their beaches with his name on it.

It's half of the equation. Kim has already:

    (a) Destroyed his primary testing sight, and
    (b) release Americans, and
    (c) returned the remains of Korean soldiers, and
    (d) ended the Korean War, and
    (e) met with South Korea across the DMZ. This is all historic and positive.

To keep the sanctions lifted, he will have to provide permanent, verifiable, halt to nuclear and missile activity.

It's so weird to see Leftists think all of this is such a bad thing. It's not like he shipped $150 billion in cash to Kim or tried to open up the banks against the sanctions.

His administration has already said he is going for a treaty which will be approved by the Senate. This is all good stuff. It's called stopping a war and embracing peace.

    I don't believe the story.

If it was true it would be all over the news.

    It's not.

First Trump accolades Un, then a Trump-fluffer follows suit.

    A) Not true
    D) What the hell?
    E) That was Moon, not Trump. He ran on trying to "normalize" the relationship between SK and NK

Seems like your still not getting that Kim got everything he wanted and Trump got nothing.

    Of course it's not true..

It's Kim, thanks to Trump, now finally getting a global presence. NK has a very strong propaganda news presence, just like Russia does.

Clinton and GWB never met face to face with Kim, because they were smarter than Trump.

The $150 billion is on the high side. According the U.S. Treasury Department it was $56 billion.

Donald Trump says Iran got $150 billion and $1.8 billion in cash. That's Half True | PolitiFact
