There is no justification for solitary confinement. I will not waiver in my convictions, so don't bother trying.

I am not trying to convince you of anything. I don't believe in solitary confinement either. It is cruel and inhumane. I just don't think Manafort is being abused in any way. He is too high profile and surrounded by many lawyers.

Well, I did not say I had PROOF. But here is the major point that @The Man was making, and I find a great deal of truth in it:

Manafort knows too damn much. In general population, it is all too easy for them to pay some guy already doing a life sentence and got nothing to lose, pay his family, for him to quietly shank him in the showers or something.

LeRoy: I can think of SEVERAL very powerful people who might have a VERY strong incentive to silence Paul Manafort. Donald Trump. Vladimir Putin. Any of a number of very wealthy Russian oligarchs. And there would be a lot of fairly poor prisoners in that general population who might be able to benefit their FAMILY by doing a little 'job on the side', in precisely the manner that is being suggested.
Thanks from HCProf, The Man and BDBoop

You are probably right, but I want proof. And if I came off as combative or bitchy or otherwise TRish, I'm sorry. I just happen to be passionate about this subject and am determined to be steadfastly consistent in my beliefs.

This is wrong. It is barbaric and it needs to end. I don't care how you feel about Paul Manafort and what lead to the revocation of his bail, the United States of America should not be putting people who have not been found guilty of a crime in solitary confinement. This is a crime against humanity and we need to take a stand.

For a few bucks (supplied by Russia) one of the other inmates would be happy to take Manafort out permanently. Manafort isn’t being loyal to Trump, Manafort is scared shitless of Putin and his men.

Yep. They shouldn't even be holding him - much less in solitary.
