    Insuring Sea Rise

Before the flood of people leaving Florida, sea rise may doom the town before the water.
It's not the water but the perception of sea rise.
How do you insure something soon to be a loss ?

If you read the article, that might is already happening and insurance is pondering now.
It really doesn't matter wether man caused it or God caused it but " it" is rising.
In fact the really frightening evidence is "it" is speeding up. The evolution of sea rise, to double, then double again.

I was wondering when this would happen.
The little I know about insurance, is they abhor loss.
That means they are looking how to get out before the shit hits the fan.
It is happening the world over, check your sea level against home now.

Dude I live in Florida and while no one knows what "insurance is pondering", no one is fleeing rising sea level. That's not happening. Not. Happening.
Oceanfront property is still being developed, Keys property is still being developed. Apparently people are putting their money where you seem certain they shouldn't. Wanna take bets as to whether Keys real estate will crash? Not gonna happen.

Wow, after reading, the insurance plan is to wait till the property is worthless. Then no pay out.
    Not demolished, but just unsalable.
Betting is bad taste because we all will feel this.
Check your resale rates, check prices, adjust now.
The longer they wait, the more it's going cost.

We all are aware Florida is in total denial.
Why are they spending all the money raising roads, and huge new pump stations. ??????

Sea level is rising as it has been for the last 7500 years- slowly. I've been living on the coast in FL for decades. Decades...
No one is buying the alarmist shit. Go stir some other pot Loki.

New York City underwater? Gas over $9 a gallon? A carton of milk costs almost $13? Welcome to June 12, 2015. Or at least that was the wildly-inaccurate version of 2015 predicted by ABC News exactly seven years ago. Appearing on Good Morning America in 2008, Bob Woodruff hyped Earth 2100, a special that pushed apocalyptic predictions of the then-futuristic 2015.

The segment included supposedly prophetic videos, such as a teenager declaring, "It's June 8th, 2015. One carton of milk is $12.99." (On the actual June 8, 2015, a gallon of milk cost, on average, $3.39.) Another clip featured this prediction for the current year: "Gas reached over $9 a gallon." (In reality, gas costs an average of $2.75.)
