isn't it only "mostly white" because whites are in the majority?

I really get the feeling you're being disingenuous. I know liberals who watch liberal OMISSION media (CNN, MSNBC, etc) are incredibly ignorant, but like who the hell in America doesn't know what I said about the anchor baby moms ?

Except you are simply full of shit. damn few of them expect or even want welfare. They are not like conservatives who sit on their ass collecting it.

So far. The fact that we soon won't be is what scares the hell out of the racist bigots.

Most farm workers in California are not on public assistance. For those working by the bin or the lug, they often make a hard but good living. But yeah there's lots of those farm bill receivers who would cheat their mothers if they could get by with it..... after all they call us the stupids for not being as greedy as they are.

But the difference is...California is trying to remedy the situation. Your state is still part of the problem.

Also, American citizen's are more likely to be on food stamps than migrant farm worker, undocumented or otherwise.

California does have laws to protect undocumented worker from being exploited. Claims of retaliation have been on the increase since Trump took office. Workers are being mistreated. No doubt. None the less, calling it "slave labor" is just hyperbolic nonsense.
We have several areas where brand new state of the art housing complete with kitchens has been built to service those farm workers who need a place to stay during the harvest. I haven't seen any having to sleep on the streets.

The only street sleepers I see here are mainly white and there's not many. Now if you go to the Trump voting areas of the state like Yuba County there's homeless everywhere.

    Here
Con artists here daily trying to propose alternate realities for political purposes. Stop the BS!

"The 1996 reforms changed almost every aspect of non-citizen eligibility for welfare benefits. Although the provisions are exceedingly complex, a rough general principle provides useful guidance. With some exceptions, non-citizens entering the United States after August 22, 1996, the date of enactment of the welfare reform legislation, are not eligible for most welfare benefits, including Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), SSI, Medicaid, and the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), until they have been in the U.S. for at least five years. Keeping this general principle in mind, a more thorough review of the 1996 provisions reveals both their complexity and breadth."

"In determining welfare eligibility for non-citizens, two broad criteria are taken into account. The most general screen is the concept of “qualified” and “not qualified” alien. Generally, qualified aliens are non-citizens who have been permitted to reside permanently in the United States. They include legal permanent residents (LPRs), refugees, asylees, Cuban/Haitian entrants, and a few other categories. Qualified immigrants may be eligible for federal and state benefit programs that aim to help families with limited income and resources. Not qualified aliens (mostly illegal and temporary immigrants), by contrast, are ineligible for all except emergency benefits, a policy that was largely in place even before the 1996 reforms.

"Often that debate returns to claims of undocumented immigrants drawing welfare benefits, while in the country illegally, at a massive cost to federal tax payers."
"But PennLive wanted to know if this was accurate, or simply an empty conservative talking point. What we found follows here."

"The network says undocumented immigrants do not qualify for welfare, food stamps, Medicaid, and most other public benefits. It also says most of these programs require proof of legal immigration status and under the 1996 welfare law, even legal immigrants cannot receive these benefits until they have been in the United States for more than five years."
