    Interesting op-ed from CBC.

"This is about hypocrisy — not about what did or did not happen at a music festival 18 years ago. It is about "believing women," until it happens to you; about taking all allegations of sexual misconduct seriously, except if they happen to pass some arbitrary expiration date. It is about employing an unwavering zero-tolerance policy, which, in practice, ends up showing some tolerance for the man at the top. It is about having one set of standards for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and another set of standards to everyone else. That's the issue. "

The problem I have with this case and article. If Trudeau was not in a leadership position, this would have never gone public. How far back does a person have to apologize for? Trudeau was in his twenties, single and not in a leadership position..but his Dad was famous and this is why it was reported back then and a issue now. Otherwise, he would have been just another douche who can't keep his hands to himself...like millions of other men.

Trump in contrast is a totally different case. He has bragged publicly about how he treats or treated women, he was old, married, a father, etc. He is also very unattractive and if it weren't for financial foreplay, he would be lucky to get a prostitute to say yes. Trudeau, as far as we know, has done none of this.

It's one of those where, it would be near impossible to convict.

This would only add to the reasons why Trudeau must go...

    What a mess...

You know, in a discussion on this in a previous thread, I did say, well, he was a young man...

But, I am rethinking that, honestly. 28 is not a young man. I'm 29 now. By a year ago, I was already a married man with a family and a job. 28 is not a teenager. By 28, you are a mature adult, and you should have a brain developed enough to tell you how to behave properly...

This is disappointing on many levels...
Before being disappointed, wouldn't you first want to know if it actually happened?

This movement had some great substance when Weinstein, Spacey, and a few others were originally exposed. But it has evolved into something often ridiculous and petty.

YES.. No seriously, attractiveness is in the eye of the beholder. I was referring to Trump in this case, where his ugliness is spread over every facet of him. He is grotesque in every way a human could possibly be. It isn't always physical or outward beauty. Average guys who may not be picture perfect can appeal to women if he is nice, respectful, and decent. Good looking guys who do not have a problem attracting women, accusations can be elevated due to interactions with more women with a better chance of misreading a message. IMO, if Trump did not have wealth, he would be trolling on Plenty of Fish with a fake picture. LOL

18 years ago Roy Moore dated a younger woman he later married... You cared a shit ton about that.

I'm guessing you have buyers remorse on #metoo now that it's hurting people you like.

Edit to clarify: I still think the age difference is creepy and weird.
