Let me expand on that for a moment.

    Sotomayor pick:

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Obama on Tuesday nominated federal appellate Judge Sonia Sotomayor to the U.S. Supreme Court. If confirmed, Sotomayor, 54, would be the first Hispanic U.S. Supreme Court justice and the third woman to serve on the high court. Sotomayor "is an inspiring woman who I believe will make a great justice," Obama said at a White House announcement. She "has worked at almost every level of our judicial system, providing her with a depth of experience and a breadth of perspective that will be invaluable as a Supreme Court justice," he added. Obama said Sotomayor would bring more experience on the bench than anyone currently serving on the Supreme Court when appointed.

    Kagan pick:

Washington (CNN) -- President Obama took a key step in cementing his judicial legacy Monday, nominating Solicitor General Elena Kagan to replace retiring Justice John Paul Stevens on the Supreme Court. If confirmed, the 50-year-old Kagan will become the 112th Supreme Court justice. She would be the third woman on the nine-member bench and the fourth in the history of the court.

    snip

He dismissed likely GOP criticism of the choice, saying Obama "could nominate Moses the lawgiver" and still face Republican opposition. (LOL, irony)

Obama chooses Elena Kagan for Supreme Court - CNN
    Trump pick:

Washington (CNN) - President Donald Trump has nominated Brett Kavanaugh to join the US Supreme Court, setting the stage for a dramatic confirmation battle over a stalwart conservative who could shape the direction of the court for decades to come.

No, now if they had the wrong pick. That would be fake news. If they made the right pick, that would insider news. See the difference ?

I guess that means "left-wing" means ignoring the Constitution, writing law from the bench, and not adhering to the mandate set forth by the Constitution for the Supreme Court.
There is a reason it's called the SUPREME Court and NOT the pretty-fucking-important-court.

    Ok.

"The Pretty Fucking Important Court" would seem out of character for the Founding Fathers.

Only ignorant regressives argue the 'Supreme Court' has any meaning other than it is the highest court above all lower federal courts. It was never intended by the Founders to make America, which is a Constitutional Republic, to be run by five unelected black robes. The Court, as was feared by many, keeps taking more power unto itself. Then again that poster, who I have long have had on ignore, is as clueless as it gets.

Apparently, the SUPREME Court is so strong that a single member is able to kill thousands of women, implement Sharia Law, and take women's right to vote away.
