It can get a little weird tho...I worked with a woman who breast fed a child at 4 years old. The toddler would literally help himself to her breast. I have heard of women sharing and even selling breast milk...would you allow your baby to drink breast milk from a person you did not know?
If I didn't know her at all? Probably not... What if she has some disease or something?

Yup. I began my boycott in college, and it was old news then.

    I graduated in 1974.

Various reasons. Heavy dependence on U.S. foreign aid. Inadequate government, including poor border control. Charities, missionaries and aid workers distribute the formula, sure, but they also deliver desperately needed food and medical care.

Plus, choice of leader for many third world nations is effectively completely in U.S. hands.

And our country chooses those leaders with extreme indifference to the well-being of citizens of that nation.

The difference between "an African war lord" and President Deurte in the Philippines is that the U.S. supports Deurte, basically installing him as a dictator for life.

BTW, there's a fascinating series on Cuban history on Netflix, which delves heavily into how U.S. food and food ingredients "policies" benefiting U.S. corporations worked to become the narrative.

The Cuba Libre Story, on Netflix.

Until the revolution, the real power in Cuba belonged to Del Monte, Bacardi and U.S. Sugar.

    lmao

No, but, I will say this, it is healthier for a baby than any artificial crap. My own wife breastfeeds, did our first and now the second one as well. My mother, she also did for my older brothers, but, she had fucking eight of us overall, six boys and two girls, no joke, and by the time me and then the youngest came about, she basically had no milk of her left. We were both breastfed by other women, friends of hers. And their kids are my "milk brothers" and sisters now haha Awesome, eh?
That's more disturbing than unhealthy per se.

Um, did you see that it was an April Fool's Day joke?

From the end: Yes, as some of you guessed it, April Fools!

The Game of Thrones has a creepy woman, Lysa, who breastfeeds her creepy son, who looks to be about ten or eleven years old, though......

Not really. Wet nurses were once common, and young moms today share breast milk sometimes to protect especially fragile newborns.
