The Game of Thrones has a creepy woman, Lysa, who breastfeeds her creepy son, who looks to be about ten or eleven years old, though......
Excellent Aussie tv series called "The Slap" revolves the plot around a weird hippie lady still breastfeeding her 4 year old, and elsewise "practicing attachment parenting".

    Wonderful show. Streams on Hulu.

It can get a little weird tho...I worked with a woman who breast fed a child at 4 years old. The toddler would literally help himself to her breast. I have heard of women sharing and even selling breast milk...would you allow your baby to drink breast milk from a person you did not know?
Sure, if I had a fragile newborn and the donor had been screened by my doctor.

Ok... at 16, whatever he health benefits there are would be offset by the psychological damage.

My wife adds : a child should not be breastfeeding after the point where they can remember being breastfed.

I agree, as long as there is no health issues that can be transmitted by the milk.

Woody Allen says he had a traumatic childhood because he was breastfed from falsies.
