Øbama , LOL. Who are those idiots polled?

Since the 1960's it is Reagan, easily.

He was certainly good but I would go with President Clinton first and then Obama. Clinton left us in the black and with 21.5 million plus jobs we must remember.

Reagan's awful things outweighs any good he might have done and any good things, which were actually pretty considerable that Nixon did was waaaaaaaaaay outweighed by the bad things. Eisenhower was okay. He'd be considered an extremist lefty today, lol!
Since the national debt nearly TRIPLED during Reagan's eight years in office, and we went from being the world's largest creditor nation to being the world's largest debtor nation in just those eight short years, it is kind of hard for me to understand the inordinate fondness for that man. JFK had barely two-and-a-half years in office. Hard to judge him fairly on that basis, but history will remember him FOREVER for launching humanity to the Moon and hopefully beyond.

    Reagan is the best.

    Then Nixon/Ford.

    Then JFK/LBJ.

    Clinton.

Carter/Obama are the worst. Tied for last would be Bush 41 and Bush 43.

The jury is still out on Trump but he's looking good.

America's national debt almost TRIPLED during Reagan's time in office. Are you looking forward to Trump doing that again? Is that your marker for 'greatness'?

Personally, even with Vietnam, I would have to give the nod to Lyndon Johnson. He gave us Medicare, which made my retirement a lot easier.

I'll give GHWB very high marks for foreign policy in general, for his handling of the Gulf War and German reunification and the collapse of the Soviet Union in particular. But you know what: To this day, I think that guy was involved in the Iran-Contra scandal up to his eyeballs, and we just never really found out. Shrug.

I don't know much about Eisenhower but my second pick would be JFK.

That Medicare was a big deal. Good point.
