John Sununuís History Of Racial Remarks About Obama

John Sununu's History Of Racial Remarks About Obama | ThinkProgress
Romney has never publicly rebuked Sununuís racial remarks, though Sununu has previously issued retractions of some of his statements. With just 11 days before Election Day, he remains the campaignís most prominent spokesperson and is even attacking Obama for dividing Americans along racial lines. During an appearance on Fox News on Thursday he complained that Obama has instituted ďclass warfare,Ē adding, ďThis guy has tried to create some racial divides
The fact that Romney has never rebuked Sununu or issued a disclaimer, only signifies that he patently "condones', this kind of thing, and certainly calls into question his being "President to all Americans", were he to win. - Aaronssongs

He won't condemn Sununu he is his campaign advisor here in NH and a very popular former governor here in NH. If Romney dissed him NH wouldn't be happy.

Right. And that's supposed to be justification, or an excuse for making racially-charged remarks, and actually, a bald faced "lie"?????
That's Romney's problem throughout his campaign. He doesn't possess a moral compass, to criticize when criticism is warranted...to condemn when condemnation is demanded.
He has no heart , no soul, and no shame.

You could be right about all that but he isn't stupid. Criticizing Sununu would be suicide in NH. Sununu made nasty comments when he was on with Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC and she demanded he "take his comments back." One of our reps agreed and spoke out about it, people threw things at him!

Typical this late in the race. Romney needs high turnout, so send out the B players like Sununu to energize white male bigots, for which Fox News, who did not fire Glenn Beck for a patently racist remark, is more than happy to provide a platform.

Just shows they know they're fucked (Obama's winning the Electoral College, handily) and they're getting desperate.

Sununu pulled off one crafty sleath move with his racist remark. Think about it
people ! He states that his "FRIEND" Powell voted for Obam becasue "they are of the same race'. The next day or later that day he sort of kinf of walks back the racist comment and calls Powell his friend.

Sununu knows that the damge was done since those gebonees who heard his racist statement and marched off in white robes did not hear his walk back and even if they did or if someone read it to them they would not care.

Sununu is one piece of shit eating bacteria !!

I agree there is some desparation. I caught a little bit of Sean Hannity on the radio when I was driving yesterday and he was in full fledged rant mode; just jumping all over the place. I heard the same thing with a local radio guy the day before.

It's still too close to gloat, albeit, OH is the election and Obama's kicking ass there. So maybe not close.

My favorite, at PH today, is the retarded fucking hurricane thread. Yippee! Hurricane coming, which could kill many and cost billions, and maybe, just maybe, godwilling, negatively impact Obama's re-election prospects. Oh please, please. Let it be a bad one!!!

Un. Fucking. Believable. Could the Right be more obvious in its desire for shit to get fucked up, and millions suffer, stave, die or whatever, just so Obama loses his re-election bid? I don't think so. What, idiotic and shameless fucks.

Why should Romney chide Sununu for innocent remarks like that? Does Sununu look like Trayvon?

Only a race baiter could find those remarks racist.

Watching Liberals cry wolf over racism is pathetic... that's when you know they are losing.
