    Firearms Equality Movement...brilliant strategy...

So far, 126 firearms and ammunition companies have banded together pledging not to do business with any state, county, city, or municipality, that passes or enforces any laws regulating the 2nd Amendment, as it relates to law-abiding US citizens. What I like most about this movement is that they will not be effected by by any calls to boycott them from the anti-gun crowd...those groups and people don't purchase their products anyway, ergo, they lose nothing by establishing this group of companies.

I will do the vast majority off my future business with these companies, while letting the others (Glock, Colt, S&W, Federal, Winchester, etc.) know I will refrain from doing any business with them, until they get on board.

Another refreshing thing to gain here...ammunition will soon be available in stores again...since the government strategy of depleting the stock will come to an end due to these patriotic companies putting law-abiding citizens needs before the government's attempt to deprive us of our Constitutional rights.

Talk to me this time next year and we'll see how many are out of business because of their stance against governments choosing to infringe on the rights of law-abiding citizens...or, are you just another one of those Keynesians that believe no economy can operate with the government being deeply entrenched in it to ensure it works properly? Seems to me, our economy is pretty messed up since the government decided to sink its teeth into it.

sounds like just a political ploy. Maybe they will refuse business now, but then once its out of the idiotic general public's mind, they will cave since it hurts their business. BUt people would forget what they said previously, as they always do

if gun control is really infringing on rights, then they should get together a legal team and take it to the supreme court. Since only their opinion matters.

Decisions have already been made by the Supremes...District of Columbia v. Heller being one of the most recent. Obama knows that this SCOTUS will come down against him on any type of gun regulation he champions and many Demcrats in the Congress still have, fresh in their minds, what happened to their buddies that decided to take on gun owners in '94.

And what gun control measures have Obama put forth? Most of his points was on education, and the only thing was bigger background check. Can you actually point out what Obama has pushed forth that violates the constitution? With your reasoning behind it?

He has pushed for the renewing of the assault weapons ban...that is a violation of the Constitution that ensures my right to keep and bear arms...it doesn't specify any that should be restricted, therefore, none should be. If one reads what the Founders had to say regarding citizens being armed, they would have us just as armed as any military force we may have to face.

    Typical leftie "logic".

"There's no gun ban, wake me when one happens".

I swear to God, lefties wouldn't respond to a nuclear bomb till after the fact.

Renewing a law that was constitutional is unconstitutional.

Who cares? For the most part these companies are little customizes, gunsmiths, retailers. No one of any relevance has shown any interest in this boycott. I seriously doubt the State Of Calif. or N.Y.C. is in a panic because some little firearm customize is Berryville, Ar. won't ship to them. Big yawn.
Wake me up when Glock, S & W, Colt, Ruger or Sig Saur joins it.
