Praise babyjesus, the Union is saved!!! Whew. Can you imagine: certified-wackos and repeat felons not being able to buy assault rifles at a gun show???? What the fuck's next!!!! No lobby bar in the hotel where they're having shows????!!!!!?????

Jesus fucking Christ. What the hell kinda country only has law-abiding and sane citizens buying militia-wannabe guns and stuff??? Not America, damnit!!!

    Thank you, GOP Senate Caucus!!!!

    Corporations run this country.
    The oil industry
    The gun industry
    The Insurance industry
    etc

    They own:
    The House of Reps
    The SCOTUS
    70% of the Senate

Term limits & ending legalized bribery (campaign contributions..wink..wink) is the answer.

I'm disappointed they wasted time on this in the first place. After Newtown all I heard was "anything and everything is on the table", as it turns out more restrictions on people who weren't breaking the law was the ONLY thing on "the table", it's too bad because I actually allowed myself some hope that we'd take a look at gun violence in this country, see what makes it tick, and attempt to remove the incentive to kill...as much as that can be accomplished anyway. Prohibition is probably the number one contributor to gun violence in this country and more prohibition is exactly what we're considering to combat gun violence. Ironic as hell.

We need some competent leadership with stones. I'll hold my breath.

Try to stay with me here, Rev. It's real complicated, so bear with me, and do not hesitated to query me on any of the real complicated parts ... that said ... here goes:

Ideally, folks need not be armed to the fucking teeth, just to hunt and have some home protection. Stuff's getting pretty fucking capable, with remarkable lethality. But it is what it is; so, and damnit, this is way the fuck out there ... perhaps ... drumroll ... .... ... a COMPROMISE!!! That's the ticket.

If they gotta be armed to the fucking teeth, maybe not folks who have no teeth, being repeat felon methheads. Or perhaps real certified loonies need not be armed to the fucking teeth, and listening to God telling them school children are aliens that want eat their brain, so please save humanity by mowing down them brain-eatin' aliens. Or maybe some repeat offender, with some spouse and kids beating issues, need not have a fucking AR-15 to go with the many nines, in service showing that bitch what she's got coming to her.

Still following, Rev? If not, hesitate not to query some.

    Back at ya.
