    Cossack privilege lol

Other groups in Russia may be restricted in owning and carrying even hunting weapons.

Cossacks can buy a tank and drive around on it and nobody says nothing. Video from August 4th, Cossack militia near Langepas (Northern Ural region) exercising on newly bought vehicle

The narrator is talking about how "other Cossack pickets [militias] are purchasing armored vehicles too". They can, because they are Cossacks Drool with envy, US gun nuts hehe

That's not a tank though, just a BMP. Now, these Cossacks have real tanks, and whole two of them

    T-72s, look like to me.

They are buying old junk from the Army, really. But, hell, tanks are tanks All will help, when China or whoever invades

I watched a weird documentary on a minority group in Russia, eventually the film crew were kidnapped by Cossacks. They ended up in the house of the [local] Cossack leader, who had a copy of Mein Kampf in a glass case, and a framed picture of Adolf Hitler on the wall. Then they drank with them, and I am pretty sure the group had a 'tank' too.

Cossacks are fucked up people lol Like I said, my dad is one, I grew up in the culture. Not all are Nazis, like one you saw (my dad's branch, Terekians, are very interbred with Caucasian people, many look outright Chechen or Ossetian or something, because they have so much "mountain" blood in them, Armenian in my case. They have a okay relationships with other ethnic groups. Other branches, with less mixed blood and culture, look more Slavic, some are Slavic nationalists.

One thing they have in common, is religious Orthodox Christian fanaticism. You grow up going to church every day

Boys are also taught how to be tough, trained to fight when we learn to walk

(Cossack kid, with the chub haircut vs. regular Russian boy)

    They are gun nuts too

For Cossack kids, their main toys growing up, are guns and other weapons

The other side to it all is, Cossack militias ARE highly effective. When disastrous flooding struck the Krymsk area of Krasnodar krai, Southern Russia, last year, the first responders, first to go in, were local Cossack militiamen

    There is a powerful photo

a Cossack rescuing a woman and her baby off a flooded house. Cossacks also brought in bulldozers and other equipment to get through debris and damaged buildings, long before the Army went in

Before Krymsk, was the 2008 War in South Ossetia, where, again, before Russia officially jumped into the conflict, around 12,000 Cossack armed volunteers mobilized to help the Ossetians fight Georgia

That's probably why Putin tolerates them arming to the teeth and taking over farmland and such. They are scary people

    but useful hehe

I wonder if that little blond girls grandmother is still getting royalties from that commercial or does it all just go to the state?

It's still the same today. Worse, even. And that commercial wasn't from the '50's. It still applies to that mass-inbred infested shithole of a country. Problem is that we don't have a huge wall to keep that slime from leaving and infesting the rest of the world.

Eh, in most of Russia, yes, they still are backward and dress like shit, but Western fashion is certainly popular among liberal young people in cities like Moscow and St. Petersburg, who wish to emulate their European and American counterparts.

It's not the same as the Soviet era; Soviet-era Moscow did not have stores selling Gucci, Prada, Versace, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, nor did Soviet-era Moscow have stores selling Levi's and Converse and Timberland; even American Eagle has a store in Moscow now. Soviet-era Russians were not walking around in t-shirts that said "American Eagle" in big letters on them along with a big picture of an eagle.

Nah, today's Russia is a funny place for fashion. Where else, but some small Russian town, do you find a big, fat Orthodox priest and two young rock-n-rollers walking on the same road at the same time

lol Devil's music, don't you know?

As for inbred, no, that's not Russia. Try Mississippi or Alabama or those sort of places.
