It's only "weird" if one associates nudity exclusively with sexuality.
But many families are casual about nakedness in the home, especially around same-sex family members. Sisters, or mothers and daughters, sometimes dress in the same room, for instance, or try on clothes in the same dressing room.
What's "weird" to me is the notion that there is or could be anything sexual about this.

It doesn't have to be seen as sexual to seem weird. My mother/sisters and I change in front of each other. We would not sit in a hot-tub topless and pose for photos.

They didn't pose for the photo, apparently; it was taken candidly, without their prior knowledge, is my understanding.
Did you have a hot tub?
I see nothing weird about sitting in it sans shirt, with or without other family members.
The whole purpose of it is to relax, like a sauna (where strangers generally sit together naked, or wearing towels).

Indeed, the weird thing is that someone would think it's weird.

Maybe it's because I've done a lot of athletic things that involved locker rooms and stuff, combined with my overseas travel, but I just don't associate nakedness with sexuality. Nor do I see it as weird for members of the same sex, especially family members, to change in the same room or go topless in a hot tub.

After topless photo, mom could go to jail

Early Start|Added on December 20, 2013A suburban Missouri mom is now facing charges after a topless photo of her and her teen daughter was shared online.

The mother is facing child endangerment charges and can go to prison for one year. She is accused of posing topless with her 14 year old daughter. Another daughter a 13 year old took the picture and the 13 year old posted it on SNAPPER JACK ?

The mother claims that she told the 13 year old not to post the pic.

Is there more to this story than in this link ?
Is it ( for a mother ) to be sitting in a hot tub inside your own home while topless with her daughter also topless a crime ?

Where there any males present during this topless fest ?

Is this normal ? Is this legal inside the privacy of ones own home ?

Isn't this a stupid act by the mother ? What do you guys think ?
Seems there's nothing basically unlawful or wrong on the mother's part... but ....she SHOULD have taken steps to see that the picture would NOT be put online by her dumb brat daughter. The 13 yr old could potentially be charged for putting a topless pic of her 14 yr old sister online. I see no real case agaist Mom. I'd assume the website already removed the photo.

So then why did they cover their nipples?

How many were subjugated by the communists?

Was that a good thing for those the subjugated? How many of those cultures chose to leave the empire when given a chance? Should they have had the right to governments and laws that represented their own cultural mores or should they still be living the way the russians told them they should?

BTW, missouri was never part of the confederacy and my folks don't "stone" people to death, even the vapid ones.
I am an immigrant but God forbid no no no no way am I not Russian. I am of Ukrainian heritage and we ( the good Ukrainians from Western Ukraine ) consider being called Russian to be an insult much like being called an N-WORD. ok got your attention ! ps you man have me confused with someone else who is from Russia, is part Russian, is from Russia and who likes the Russian empire and likes to have Russians subjugate non Russian people.

The Czars did subjugate way too many people and the Communists and the Czars did commit genocide. Now I have and shall always continue to support the rights of distinct peoples to self determination, social, religious, personal, and ethnic freedom.

In Europe a people are basically defined by their ethnic group and for the most part with exception an ethnic group tends to be from a generally confined area. Now how do you define what is a "peoples " in the US ? Except for the Native American who has been relocated, inter-married, killed off ( as in Europe ) robbed of identity there really is not one ethnic group which can claim one region or area.

Are you considering Southerners to be a "peoples" ? How are you going to define them RACE ? dna ? religion ? color of skin / party affiliation ? favorite sports team, language, Ethnic GROUP ? I understand am am aware that even in Europe people have been relocated, had genocide conducted upon them, intermarried, had their culture, religion, history, and language stolen from tem but still there are more defined groups there than here in the us.

We stopped being all English, or Scotch, or Welch since the Dutch settled in New YorK and the Germans in Pennsylvania and the French we bought in the Louisiana Purchase, AND THE Spanish AND AND and and .... so "we" Americans are not and were only for a short time one "peoples" ethnically.
    "

Yes I am well aware that Missouri was not part of the Confederacy .[/QUOTE]

DNA tells us there is no real difference between the various and sundry european nationalities. The differences that do exist are cultural. We have cultural differences right here in the us, and they're becoming more and more pronounced. They may not have be as pronounced as the differences between the ukranians and the russians but they exist nontheless whether you approve or not. As a ukrainian I should think you'd understand this.

    My apologies to Dutch.

I had read the story on another forum, and so didn't realize that CNN provided video, but not an article, to go with it.
