    Farm bill deal reached

A bipartisan deal has been reached for a farm bill. Final vote will be tomorrow.

"Today's bipartisan agreement puts us on the verge of enacting a five-year Farm Bill that saves taxpayers billions, eliminates unnecessary subsidies, creates a more effective farm safety-net and helps farmers and businesses create jobs," said Sen. Debbie Stabenow, a Michigan Democrat and the head of the Senate Agriculture Committee."

Damn Debbie. You're touting saving taxpayers all that money but cool with cutting funding to food stamps while the unemployment rate is so high?

So, is she one of those socialist radicals the Democratic party is made up of, according to many righties? Someone tell me the story again about how Democrats won't compromise and the gridlock in DC is all the fault of Obama and the Democrats.
    Thanks from Friday13

Let me guess, it subsidizes more corn and soy crops and not fresh fruit or vegetables, while cutting off valuable resources for the poor. What a good idea! Keep people poor and fat.
