The market is a funny beast. SOMETIMES, it rises on BAD news, and SOMETIMES it goes down on GOOD news. We've seen quite a bit of that lately, as a matter of fact. For example, some good news on the economy might make investors fearful that the Fed is going to raise interest rates, and they might not want that.....

DOW BIGGEST WEEKLY GAIN SINCE 2011!

Buffett says stocks will continue to rise.

Now what could POSSIBLY be driving the markets higher?

I understood this in 89, 92, 2000, Post 911, and Mortgage Bubble, when the markets crashed I purchased when the markets crashed, sold when they recovered.
    Guess you're sorry now

I think the massive losses did not occur, as some predicted.

I think the gloom and doom predictors were wrong, yet again. Yes again.

I think America may actually survive a Trump presidency, as much as some people won't admit it.

I think some morons will not accept Trump as their president, as we see from the thugs "protesting" in the streets.

One of those 'thugs', as you call them, is my 'honorary nephew', who served two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. He LOATHES Donald Trump, and is out there protesting, in the streets of Denver. But when he was in Iraq and Afghanistan, I guess he was protecting the rights of jerks, like you, who have no hesitation in calling a decorated military veteran a 'thug'.

If your "honorary nephew" is participating in the violence and vandalism and attacks on LEO's then yes, he's a thug, whether he's a vet or not.

If he's one of the majority, the peaceful and lawful protesters, then good for him.

There are often a few thugs mixed in with the legitimate protesters.

Especially in Portland these last few days.

    Where is he protesting?

Denver. Not that it's really any of your business. I'll tell him you called him a thug.

    He will laugh.

    But not me.

    I don't think you're funny, at all.

    Imagine my relief.

I was sure worried about what you thought of me there for a while.

BTW I hope he stays safe if he is a peaceful protester.

It's the thug "protesters" that I do not care for, you know the lawbreaking "protesters" who are vandalizing, destroying private property, and attacking the cops.

It is awful and they are defeating the purpose. But the only good thing is if Trump had lost they would be doing the same thing but with guns
    Thanks from labrea
