Consumer confidence rose almost STEADILY from March 2009, after the passage of ARRA, to today. It did so in almost uninterrupted fashion, except for a brief plunge in 2011 caused by the Congressional debt ceiling fiasco and the first-ever downgrade of the U.S. credit rating.

Again, you are trying to BLAME the stock market crash and the Great Recession on Barack Obama, oblivious of just how idiotic that really is. The Great Recession began in December 2007, almost a full YEAR before Mr. Obama was elected.

This STEADY rise in consumer confidence from March 2009 on is what that graph linked to in the OP SHOWS.

A shame that you simply never learned how to read graphs.

Faith in one's own ideology is a strong motivator. We sometimes anticipate things that don't pan out. I don't see how a measure of consumer confidence after election but before inauguration points to anything but prejudice--literally pre-judging.

As the graph linked in the OP ALSO shows, Consumer Confidence was plummeting BEFORE the election, which Libertine simply chooses to ignore. In FACT, consumer confidence was plunging throughout the entire YEARS of 2007 and 2008.....

Facts are facts, consumer confidence dropped immediately after Obama's election, to an all time low.

Part of a trend that preceded him and was caused by an economy entirely the responsibility of his predecessor. You left that part out.

No one needs to lie. They only need to tell half truths. You're good (and persistent) at this, clearly.

Although the stock market had been predicted to crash if Trump won. Experts also predicted people would be terrified and the economy would collapse. A rising consumer confidence rate and a positive stock market indicates neither happened. So the partisans are found on both sides.

How about this trend? It directly correlates to the declining economic growth rates we saw in the last few years of the Obamaconomy.

Yes, we know you want to focus on the relatively mild decline in consumer confidence over the last 20 months before the November election, while simply ignoring the much more dramatic TREND of the last eight YEARS. And for obvious reasons.
