In TNV's small world, everything is Obama's fault, either directly or indirectly. If not Obama, it will be some other democrat. Too many simple-minded folk think in binary terms like TNV. It is above his pay grade to educated himself.

    Cut expenses.

The problem is that people want stuff and don't want to sacrifice anything. I cut out pretty much everything, including a wife, and find saving very easy.

Its all about how much are you willing to give up to save for retirement.
I doubt you are the one that did the cutting. Being thrown out doesn't constitute sacrificing anything.

Sorry truckers but your days are numbered.
How's that drone going to deliver the microwave oven I bought on Amazon a year ago? Truckers aren't going anywhere.

Amazon drones are only delivery small items. Truthfully, our country needs to rethink how we do trucking and it will as we start looking at climate change. You know that crusade of the left. We will have to look toward intermodal. That's where truck drivers only do short runs to or from the railhead.

Some seem to believe self-driving trucks are a solution. Goody for us, a few European nations are striving ahead to make it happen so if there have to be horrible chain-reaction crashes as they debug the systems, they will not involve Anericans.

But could freight planes ever be self-flying? That seems impossible, but I have no aeronautic science wits at all.

If I had an 18 year old today, I would make them look at whether the career they want could be eliminated by a robot.

Yeah but I like Fed Ex the best because they are private enterprise...

UPS is private enterprise too but they are heavily unionized and I dont support Union goons...

Much in that I dont by Big Three cars from Detroit because of that communist UAW.....

I prefer Korea and Japanese models bolted together by hillbillies in a Right To Work State down south.
    Thanks from Madeline

Again: Amazon is not shipping to me today using UPS or Fed Ex or USPS. I get packages on holidays and Sundays, and the boxes have no shipping labels. I have no idea HOW they are shipping to me.

If I make a return, they DO tell me to take the item to the nearest UPS store, but if they offered Amazon a deal better than the public can get, I haven't found news reports of it.

More on Amazon Prime's plans/chances to shutter every bricks and mortar grocery store in the US:

(Amazon Prime is $11/mo or $132/yr; Fresh would be an additional $48/yr.)

Amazon is shipping using USPS or UPS. That's the only way that they ship. Those things do not appear by magic. The bar code is the shipping label.
