I visited Maine many times while living in Rhode Island, also New Hampshire, and Vermont. I believe that the three states are a beautiful area of the country even away from the coast.

Feel free to move to from Georgia to Maine. Don't forget to buy a snow blower as soon as you arrive. Adios y buena suerte.

Maine is actually worse then many parts of Alaska from what I'm told; IT'S COLD AS LIVING HELL.

I would actually love to live there, but let me tell you something, you can buy 100 acres with a big lake on it for like $50,000.00 What does that tell us?

It seems that you are going by what you were told not experience. If you think the weather in Maine is bad, you must really hate Canada.

I absolutely think it's beautiful. I drive through it on my way to Canada. Very polite drivers, pristine landscapes.
