Oh, well what am I supposed to think when you use terms that mean nothing like "leftist"? Perhaps it means a communist, or just anyone left of you on the political spectrum. Or maybe just anyone who is taking up any position on a particular issue that is to your left at the moment? Or maybe...well, maybe a lot of things, right? Maybe it just means, "I think it sounds pejorative, and will win me points with my fellow right-wingers, so I'll toss it out there even though it doesn't really man anything."

I guess I'm just left to guess what it means. I'm going with communist, since that is actually a bona fide far-left place, and the rest of those are just bullshit.

Trying to change that undeniable reality through punitive taxation is stupid, pointless, ineffective, and generally counterproductive, reducing wealth and opportunity for everyone.
The question of what system of taxation to use should be answered by examining how it affects wealth and opportunity for all people in general while producing adequate revenue.
If you consider that wealth is created through innovation and production, and that taxation generally discourages and hinders whatever is taxed, taxes on production (income tax), make less sense than taxes on consumption (sales tax).
Ayn Rand called. She wants her brain and mouth and all of her ideas back.

So your label of me as a right winger is based on taking offense to the use of the word leftist? I'm open to alternative terminology to describe rigidly partisan left wingers incapable of acknowledging or criticizing their own side's shortcomings. Any suggestions?

So you're saying you can't refute that... OK, thanks.

You might have a point if 72% of the Fortune 400 richest Americans didn't inherit their fucking money. Being a trust bunny drone produces absolutely nothing but sex tapes, and malfeasance.

Where did you get that "fact"? Mother Jones? I'll need documentation. Please give us the list of 288 "trust bunnies" that inhabit the top 400 list, and please include information on their inheritances. That shouldn't be too hard. TIA

There was nothing particularly Ayn Rand about any of that. Democratic politicians say very similar things about taxes when they are at the helm because they acknowledge there can be downsides to overtaxation and upsides to tax cuts. Democrats who have passed, justified and supported bills intended to provide for economic development and stimulus typically accomplish it through some degree of tax cuts for these very same reasons.

Yet you relegate all these real world, relatively bipartisan observations regarding tax cuts to "Ayn Rand." That is plainly absurd.

And what percentage of the rich's heirs squander most of the inheritance by the 2nd and 3rd generations?

You really need to quit your endless, mindless bitching.
