Yep, they are, and I don’t disagree with you there. However, by finger pointing and refusing to acknowledge the irony that the left now suddenly cares about deficits only adds to the partisan divide.
Our problems as a nation won’t get resolved until both sides acknowledge the roles they play in it. The people can help that along.

Because the economic conditions in the us (and the world) have changed. More people have money to pay taxes with. Instead of lowering taxes for the wealthy, who are making out like bandets, we should be paying down our debt.
