Yes, resulting in lower wages by 10-30% for legal workers, you know, the ones with no dreams. Tyson is certainly a shithole company as well as a big supporter of Bill Clinton.

The credit is given to "-Nathan Owens" whoever that is.

    Spokesman for Tyson Foods, maybe?
    He's a reporter for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

They're part of that unregulated Crony Capitalist America that you righties hold dear. You should be applauding them. I'm sure the top brass has a few billion tucked away in a Swiss bank account somewhere.

I heard bonuses is a new way a company can get out of giving raises and is a lot cheaper too. What do you think about that?

Don't know why you say that.

There's LOTS of waste there, too.

And in pretty much every big gubmint program.

Bonuses are nice. But typically, raises are better.

SPRINGDALE (KFSM) -- Tyson Foods announced that they will be increasing the wages for workers at most of their U.S. chicken plants, they said in a news release on Friday (Oct. 23).

The hourly pay increases will begin on Sunday (Nov. 1) and will affect production, maintenance and refrigeration workers at 51 different plants, the release states.

The starting pay for production workers at 40 of the plants will increase to $10, up from $8-9. The top hourly production pay will exceed $16.

A $1/hr raise for a full-time employee amounts to well over $1000 per year. Especially when you consider tax laws that apply to bonuses vs. income.

    Thanks ... Obama?
