I think the concern is still there over airstrikes in Syria and high tensions there with Bolton.

Hopefully Trump won't keep on putting out everything we're thinking to do on Twitter, giving both our friends and adversaries a sneak peak to prepare for.

Except it is having a tremendous effect on farm prices now.

Sorghum prices 1.72 billion dollars on fears that China will not buy US Sorghum.

That is real dollars lost now. Commodity markets sell contracts at prices set by market pressures and one day price drops is devastating.

the same is happening on other commodity markets.

The only reason you don't have farmers, farm Senators and farm Governors running to the News media is that it is a Republican that is squeezing them.

Everyone is working under the radar to get Trump to back away...but Trump does not know the magnitude of his actions.

It brings allies to the table but so would have just asking them to the table. So far Mexico and Canada haven’t sacrificed a single thing in NAFTA negotiations and by all accounts US negotiators and Trump are happy with the progress.

So - could have just done that without the childish tantrums with the same results.

If it brings China to the table that’s wonderful, but allies would have been happy to be at that table as well. As a united front agai st the rule breaker.

Personally ive never seen anything from Xi that indicates he’ll give something up for nothing. But I guess the good thing about dictatorships is they actually CAN give the farm away to placate a foreign power if they want to. No internal opposition to complain about it or even tell the people it happened.

President Trump putting it on Twitter eliminated any excuse the Russians would have if one of their service members got hit with some shrapnel from a bomb. He put them on notice that it was coming. The whole purpose of the bombing was to send a message. The Russians said they'd protect Syria by knocking down the missiles. Syria now understands that Russia can't knock down those missiles.

I think that at least one of our members still thinks that Russia can knock down our missiles.

    Meanwhile back in the thread....

This is actually kind of big and while I still no longer like Trump, this is a win for him and us.
