    Exactly. That's exactly how the instructor described it. Another example he used was how sign is different in the black community. He said they sign with a little attitude. His example was if they sign "sister" they draw it out and are flamboyant with the sign.

    Well, you do pretend to be blind to use the bus for free. Pretending to be deaf would be an additional skill in your arsenal.

    Are you going to pretend to be blind while taking the lessons? Because that would be a doubly awesome pretend handicap.
