Yikes. Who are the other two women in that photograph, besides Sarah Palin?

Lol. Remember, you do not need a parachute to go skydiving - unless, of course, you'll want to do it more than once ...

If the artistic community wanted to perform for Trump so much then why didn't they during the Inauguration?

Ummmmm…….Who says they DO? We're making fun of Trump in this thread because he can't find any entertainers who DO want to perform for him, outside of Ted Nugent and (maybe?) Pat Boone or Wayne Newton?

Oh, and Kid Rock, I guess.

How about this? How about you go and read the OP and then take a mulligan on that post?

Yeah, I think YOU'RE the one who needs to read the OP. Sheesh, this is part of what it says:

Artists have snubbed him since the inauguration, when musicians like Elton John, Céline Dion and Garth Brooks refused invitations to perform. “Anything that gives aid and comfort to the adversary is a poor idea,” tweeted Joyce Carol Oates, a novelist, in support. By contrast, Barack Obama’s inauguration in 2009 drew together the very best in American culture—Aretha Franklin, Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, John Williams, Elizabeth Alexander and (for the Obamas’ first dance that night) Beyoncé.

The country’s cultural elite have hardly warmed to Mr Trump in the months since. After his comments on Charlottesville, all 16 members of the Presidential Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, established by Ronald Reagan in 1982 to advise on cultural policy, resigned. “We cannot sit idly by, the way that your West Wing advisors have, without speaking out against your words and actions,” they wrote in a letter. Unlike two other councils, one on manufacturing jobs and one on economic strategy, which Mr Trump disbanded in the wake of a wave of resignations, the arts committee is an official agency, making it the first White House department to quit.

LeRoy: It's saying the nation's cultural elite can't stand Donald Trump, and that the White House has become a cultural wasteland.

Is there something seriously wrong with your reading comprehension??

Looking at the executive orders trump signed yesterday, looks like he is actively attempting to clean up the wasteland.

Yeah. That's the guy who criticized Obama for the number of executive orders he issued...…..And of course your post had nothing to do with this thread, which is about the utter DISDAIN our country's cultural elite, our musicians, authors, and artists, have for this administration......

Yes, a view that is misguided, as demonstrated by the things trump is ACTUALLY doing.

Like the saying, a lie gets around the world twice before the truth got its pants on.

He could invite a country artist to do a concert.

Is the point of this thread only that the current president lacks the educated tastes of presidents before him?
It is clear that Trump is not only tone deaf he wants nothing to do with anything that does not shine a light on him. He uses it for any occasion to bring himself into the middle. The last time I saw Trump in an audience was when President Obama ridiculed him. He has been on a vengegancetour ever since.

But he is not winning. The Media is now discussing his absence of the truth. He is a laughing stock to the world.not welcome any where.
    Thanks from Dangermouse and BigLeRoy
