Nope, sorry, wrongo!! It was some FRINGE scientists back in the 70's who were predicting the next Ice Age, and managed to get their wild speculations written up in such highly-esteemed 'science' journals like Time and Newsweek. There was NEVER anything even REMOTELY like the scientific consensus that exists today on AGW.

And, one wonders if you have noticed this: Computers have made STUNNING advances since the 1970's. And, guess what: Scientists use them, like, ALL the time!!

If we continue the fossil party as we have, now that billion strong India and China wants to join in too, we'll end up at 900ppm by 2100. And if you work at an office space with poor ventilation, your brain'll get concentration problems already at 600ppm.
Anything you guys don't understand here? If only planetary warming was the only problem with increased refugees, a couple of more wars willl slaughter a couple of billions more, balance that shit out, all'd be dandy. Unfortunately everyone will be zombies after mere 300 years of pissing out that fossil CO2 that hasn't been in atmospheric circulation for 50 million years.

But go ahead, keep ignoring it, then I'm sure it'll all go away. There's no hole in ozone layer, either. Oh wait, we actually agreed to let go of CFCs on that motherfucker, so those two holes have actually started patching back up. The only thing that works is bloody gaming theory. Sadly the boys are out fighting for status and money, 'cause pussy is something you buy, and the only ethological meaning of life is knocking up the bitches to create the next generation, or though that generation will walk around like zombies on planet Earth because of the fossil party that landed them the pussy to begin with. You can't expect intelligent decisions from lads running 'round with more blood in their penis than in their head.

if you think man cannot alter the environment check out the history of Easter Island, used to have a big population, but when it was discovered by Europeans all that was there was some big statues, no people, no trees, no wildlife...

It is just DELIGHTFULLY funny that webrockk thinks James Baker and George P. Schultz are 'ecomarxist moonbats', when they are, in FACT, elder statesmen of the REPUBLICAN party.

    Delightful!!

You know, just for webrockk, we could start making a list of the many thousands and THOUSANDS of animal species that the human race has exterminated from the Earth, but.......

No. No, that would take too long, and he wouldn't absorb the information, anyhow.

You are the only one discussing giving money. We are talking about all the benefits to man kind that have been developed since I have been here.

Doctors gave me up for dead after Strep Throat had shut down my system at 15. As a last resort the Doctor said he would try Penicillin. 2 shots brought me out of a week long coma.

Lo and behold, here I am still here.Of course I had to relearn to walk again, but here I am! The miracles of Science are amazing.

The ignorance of those who deny Science is astounding..
