Same is true of all the 0.01%ers, and their pet poodle, Hillary Clinton.

This is class warfare, and us 99%ers are blithering on about abortion or guns or some other bullshit.

"The U.S. also attempted to sway Russian elections.

"In 1996, with the presidency of Boris Yeltsin and the Russian economy flailing, President Clinton endorsed a $10.2-billion loan from the International Monetary Fund linked to privatization, trade liberalization and other measures that would move Russia toward a capitalist economy. Yeltsin used the loan to bolster his popular support, telling voters that only he had the reformist credentials to secure such loans, according to media reports at the time.

"He used the money, in part, for social spending before the election, including payment of back wages and pensions."

Perhaps Morgan's million$ have affected his memory and his politics?
O, please. The US's odious foreign policies include making war, murdering progressive leaders of other nations, and on and on. U.S. imperialism is the biggest misery merchant the world has ever known.

Look at the Phillipines, FFS. Deuerte is a monster equal to Hitler, complete with the "ethnic cleasing" crap and he would be overthrown tomorrow but for the U.S propping him up.

That does not mean that allowing Putin to control the U.S. government would represent progress as to human rights, anywhere on the planet.

I urge you to follow the money. You needn't agree with me. But it is not patriotic to pretend all is well.

If I can answer questions for you, just ask. It's up to you to form your own INFORMED POV. There are plenty of conservative news outlets that focus on money, such as Forbes, Business Week, The Economist, etc.

Don't substitute my judgment for your own, but please, inform yourself.
Madeline I don't know you but judging by your posts I wouldn't hire you to represent me in any kind of case. You are not someone that can see through the BS and see facts.

How likely is it the US will meddle in Russian presidential elections next spring, and they will return the favor the following November?

Who knows? I have zero confidence in the CIA. I don't think those boys and girls could find a fuck in a whorehouse. The U.S. intelligence community overall is as useless as an ashtray on a motorcycle, unless you count tossing money out the window a barometer of success.

Does the U.S. government have the skills to make a cyberwar offensive, IYO?

Nicely, please. Imagine what it must be like to have finally elected a "real conservative" as president, only to discover he's a rotten fraud.

Americans who supported Trump's policies during the election are not a happy group.

Let's be kind as they struggle with that grief.

Madeline every country worth a damn has the equivalent of the CIA. Without them you would be speaking Russian and or Chinese already. You still might get the country taken over some day by either group but the only thing that has delayed their advance are covert operates in th CIA and organizations like that around the world. How the fuck do you think seal groups and others that have done the heavy lifting since the last World War had gotten their intel? Next time you hear of a terrorist attack foiled just remember that it likely was a CIA operative embedded in some terrorist group that managed to foil it. Just say your welcome you ungrateful old woman.

Bullshit. The CIA missed every major event of the post-WW II era.

We'd be better off if we shuttered all our intelligence agencies, and subcontracted with the UK.

Ask a UK person....MI-6 was not surprised when the Soviet Union collapsed, but the CIA was.

(This is a fascinating topic; if you like we could explore it in depth, on a new thread? Care to start one?)

We Americans give up so much freedom and privacy, and pay such ENORMOUS sums of money to support Homeland, NSA and CIA....and we get back fuck all, from what I have observed.

And now we have the stupid, leading the careless or lazy or incompetent.....it's not confidence-making.
