    "More discerning"?

    How so, Daddio?

Either we can discuss matters of importance like mature women, or you are going to take cheap shots at me, but we cannot do both.

You're a very bright, well-informed lady. I hate having to report you and place you on ignore; it seems like a waste. But I cannot choose your posting style for you.

So please....either accept that I LOATHE Hillary Clinton but might still be worth speaking with, or place ME on your ignore list. You are not the sort of PHer who should need a time out to self-control such that your posts do not violate the TOS.

    You're a grown woman, Eve.
We realize how you "feel" about HRC...but she is not the president, has no political power, and is no danger to the US. However much you "loathe" her, many, many, many of us loathe and despise the idiot in the WH who IS a criminal and a "clear and present danger" to this country and every citizen in it. The more you rant and rave and obsess about HRC (who is now a private citizen), the less respect those of us who hold a high/higher opinion of her will have for you and/or your opinion.
Thanks from Eve1, Panzareta, PACE and 1 others

NOW an actual traitor and conman in the Oval Office is a real threat. He really is mentally unfit and intellectually deficient. Your energy is better spent on keeping up with what he is up to and following current events involving his administration. Stop with the Clinton shit and focus on Trump like the rest of the world living in this decade.

Have you ever seen Madeline post one negative thing about Putin or about possible Russian interference in our elections?

(This is a fascinating topic; if you like we could explore it in depth, on a new thread? Care to start one?)

We Americans give up so much freedom and privacy, and pay such ENORMOUS sums of money to support Homeland, NSA and CIA....and we get back fuck all, from what I have observed.

And now we have the stupid, leading the careless or lazy or incompetent.....it's not confidence-making.

Honestly, British intel is no better than anyone else. CIA, NSA, DIA, Israel's Mossad, Russia's FSB, SVR, and GRU, Chinese MSS and PLA Department 3, hell, even the CSIS here in Canada (though, to be honest, our spooks are small timers, compared to those others lol), all are top notch agencies fighting non-stop invisible wars in the shadows, to promote and defend their country's interests. They should be celebrated for that.

Russia actually has, among their myriad of professional holidays, a "National Security and Intelligence Agent Day", believe it or not

Kind of personal for Putin, of course

This year, he went to visit his old commanding officer back in his KGB days, surprised the grandpa

It also happened to be the old man's birthday, so he brought him a gift too

He said that dude was like another father figure to him

    Aww

But, yeah. Spies are as important as militaries, and even more so, in many ways. And the Brits are no better than anyone else at it. People just watch too many Bond flicks, and think they are all that lol

    Thanks for your input.

I disagree. The turbulent times we are in give me various opportunities to explain why things would be EVEN WORSE if Hillary had been elected. This matters not just because there is still a risk she might make a third try for the white house, but also because if she does not, the 0.01% will simply find and fund another corporate Democrat to serve in her place.

There is a class war underway. Now. And the future of the American middle class is at stake.

IMO, apart from the threat of nuclear war, NOTHING is as urgent. Too many Democratic party rank and file PHers are STILL confused as to why a corporate Democrat would be the worst possible choice of president in 2020. Would have been the worst possible outcome of the 2016 election.

Maybe someone will listen to me.....eventually. Maybe not....but I am still going to try.

Meanwhile, you have an ignore feature, Eve. So does @Friday13.

I will not be STFU-ing about the class war or Hillary. Please do whatever you think best for yourself, given that information.

And BTW, the NEXT time we disagree, if we do, please do not attempt to bullshit me into feeling shame or fear of being ostracized for holding and discussing an "unpopular" POV. It doesn't work on me, and it cheapens your posts.

I am not correct or incorrect based off a vote of the majority here on PH.

My accuracy is fixed by the Real World, and my analysis of it.

I am right about Hillary Clinton and the class war, and you are wrong. If you find 1,001 other PHers who agree with you, you will still be wrong.

Meh. Hillary and the 0.01% do have one of the most impressive propaganda machines the world has ever seen.

Does not mean that their ACTUAL intentions are benign.
