Should kids be allowed to climb trees? Should kids be allowed to ride bicycles? Should kids be allowed to go swimming? Should kids be allowed to leave their yards? Do we keep them indoors and only allow them to be kids in a virtual environment?
    Thanks from bmanmcfly

No they should be getting out and exercising and getting fresh air. It saddens me to see the neighbor kids come home from school and go inside and you never see them again until they go to school the next day. When I was a kid, our streets were full of kids out playing. Now you don't see that. We used to literally come home when they street lights came on! lol

That is because parents today are afraid to let their kids play outdoors. They could be snatched. They could hurt themselves. They could get lost. They could be bullied. When I was a kid, my parents saw us for meals, family activities, and bedtime. We were gone from sun up to sun down. We might stop by the house for a sandwich around lunchtime.

It would help if the news media wouldn't give the impression that crime is rampant. My husband watches Christian TV shows and they do the same. And both do it for money.

Does everyone here know the difference between CTE and Concussions?

There have been people that have died from CTE that never were reported as having concussions in their lives.
A football player that has 20-30 sub concussive hits to his head during a game is more likely to get the degenerative disease than someone who has a few concussions in their lives.

So I ask if subjecting children who's brains are not fully developed, to playing football is morally right.

Why is the NFL getting serious about CTE?

    Is THAT the point?
