More parents are moving their kids away from Football at a young age. Stories like the one I posted in the OP will help. Zac Easter’s last wish that his family spread the word about his “silent struggle” with CTE.

"what else should they be prevented from doing?"
Let's start with not letting them scramble their brains by playing tackle football when their brains are not formed well enough.
Kids have more head injuries riding a bike. Should we prevent them from cycling??

If we KNOW adult fully formed athletes have CTE why would have any reason to assume that KID players whose brains aren't fully formed yet, wouldn't?
Most of these adults that show symptoms have been bashing their heads around for years. The brain of a child is much more vulnerable. They are moving closer to being able to detect CTE in living people. Not there yet.

They are not referring to Repetitive Sub Concussive hits. I am trying over and over to get that through to you.

And Fuck the NFL. If a parent is going to wait for the NFL to lead the way for their childs safety, then pack it up and kiss their asses goodbye.

The NFL promotes the Heads up program for kids. A coach can attend a 2-3 hour course and be heads up certified. That's it right?
    Kids are safe now!

The helmet is a false sense of security. It only makes things worse.

And you are not the only one.

You express your opinion and mine is different, and the next member has an opinion unlike yours or mine.

That makes for an interesting world.

    No harm, no foul.
