The problem I see is the provision that States can keep ACA with limited subsidies.

The question is, without the mandate, there would be no requirement for insurance companies to participate in the state exchanges.

Without exchanges, then there is no federally subsidized insurance program ostensibly ending ACA...and since all of the other program proposals are no more than current GOP proposals, this plan is no better.

It has a ACA option and gives no option for ACA to survive.

All that will happen is that blue states will continue to use the existing ACA framework, improve it where they can and proceed with finally having some form of universal care for all. On the flip side, red states will deny their people health care driving some to move to blue states, some to just live yet again without care and some to scream at their officials to stop the madness.

Under the proposal, states could stay with the Affordable Care Act, or they could receive a similar amount of federal money, which consumers could use to pay for medical care and health insurance. “We are moving the locus of repeal to state government,” Mr. Cassidy said. “States should have the right to choose.”

Nothing. The titles of these things don't mean anything.

If you like your bloated, over-regulated, expensive, one size mauls all insurance, you can keep your bloated, over-regulated, expensive, one size mauls all insurance.

Personally, I'll take the plan without the maternity coverage.

Nice equation. One side is a framework. The other is about actual care. Did you learn false equivalencies in school or just make them up out of whole cloth?

Funny thing is the red states are the poorest and generally the least healthy. Hope they have a lot more nurses driving around in motor homes giving out free medical advice and medication as a couple are doing that now. I don't see any of them getting anything but emergency care and that's when its already too late in some rural areas.

There will be no frame work.

That is like hopping on a bike that has no wheels.

Even in this proposal, GOP are suggesting that states can keep the exchanges...but no longer mandate federal subsidies or mandate insurance providers to participate.

That is like the federal government taking their tire, and insurance providers taking theirs.

At least they would leave you the seat to sit on....

That last bit indicates you don't understand the nature of insurance. Or you're just happy with an inherently sexist insurance industry.

How is the commercial insurance industry sexist? I really do not know and wanted to understand your point.
